Please be aware that Mooresville Fondo is currently applying for tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This application is still pending approval from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). While we are hopeful that our application will be approved, we cannot guarantee that donations made to Mooresville Fondo will ultimately be tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. If our application is approved, the effective date of our tax-exempt status may be retroactive to the date of our formation, in which case donations made during the pending period could be considered tax-deductible. However, this decision is at the sole discretion of the IRS, and we cannot provide any assurances as to the outcome. Donors are strongly encouraged to consult with their tax advisors to understand the potential implications of their donations. Mooresville Fondo is not responsible for any consequences resulting from the tax treatment of donations made during the pending period. By donating, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood this disclaimer and are making your donation with full awareness of the potential tax implications.
